Nov. 23 1990: Minsk hosts a meeting of democratic parliamentary delegations representing Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, and Latvia.

2004: The Ukrainian Diaspora in Great Britain protests the results of the presidential elections, published by the Central Election Committee of Ukraine.

Nov. 24 1905: Mutiny breaks out on board the cruiser Ochakov and other ships of the Black Sea Fleet.

2004: The UN urges all parties to the conflict in the aftermath of the Ukrainian presidential elections to show maximum restraint.

Nov. 25 Day of Remembrance of Victims of the Holodomor and Political Repressions

1995 : The defense ministers of Ukraine and Russia sign a number of documents in Sochi, including one entitled “On Cooperation in the Military Sphere.”

2004: A nationwide strike breaks out in Ukraine. The National Salvation Committee undertakes to protect Ukrainian democracy.

Nov. 26 1917: The founding kurultai congress of the Tatar people in the Crimea demnds that a Crimea for Crimeans only.

1944: The 1st Congress of Delegates from People’s Committees in Transcarpathian Ukraine adopts a mainfesto on the “reunification” of Transcarpathian and Soviet Ukraine

Nov. 27 1648: Jan II Casimir of Poland issues an edict with guarantees of Cossack privileges.

1918: The Ukrainian Academy of Sciences is founded in Kyiv (today: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine).
