MyGallery in Kyiv will host an unusual exhibition between December 6 and January 14. The opening of the “ART Christmas in Vozdvyzhenka” project will coincide with MyGallery’s first anniversary celebrations.
The gallery’s founder Natalia Lysenko told The Day that the idea to establish a creative venue in the capital occurred to her while working on an art project for the Embassy of Ukraine to the United Arab Emirates: “MyGallery is located in Vozdvyzhenka, a beautiful historical neighborhood of the capital. Its architecture combines organically the Ukrainian Baroque motifs and European style, so our visitors feel themselves at some quiet European town. This extraordinary blend inspired us to make ‘ART Christmas in Vozdvyzhenka’ an annual feast.”
As part of the art project, the gallery will open a personal exhibition of Inna Pantelemonova. Works by this young Ukrainian artist have already been bought by private collectors from around the world. Pantelemonova painted The Birth of Miracle specially for this exhibition, displaying that special spirit of ART Christmas and giving everyone a sense of celebration, comfort, and harmony. By the way, MyGallery is cooperating closely with the Mystetsky Arsenal, so every visitor is welcome to see the best works by modern Ukrainian and European artists, learn about the New Year and Christmas traditions of European peoples and see an exclusive collection of Christmas tree decorations. Artworks and souvenirs will later be made available for sale.
