OMODADA, band from Ternopil, hits Top 20 in the US

A song by Ternopil band Omodada has been mentioned as one of the best tracks of the US charts in 2015. The news is reported by Cultprostir.

“Really fantastic musical suspense and angelic vocals from Tik Tu’s Natalia Bagriy. I will be watching this Ukrainian artist more closely from now on,” wrote Matt Sloan, journalist who made this Top 20 ranking to be published in Stereo Embers, an American online magazine.

The list features the track by Omodada entitled “All My Gods.” This song was recorded with the soloist of another Ternopil group, Tik Tu – Natalia Bagriy.

The track entered the mini-album by Omodada called Kimnaty, which came out past year and has been mentioned in some “best of” lists of Ukrainian albums.

Omodada is a project by Ternopil musician Lesyk Drachuk, also known as the drummer of Los Colorados.

Who hides behind the name of Omodada? In fact it is a skillful musician from Ternopil, the drummer of Los Colorados band, Lesyk Drachuk. Recently he has passionately undertaken his solo project, and now he also manages his own label “Shpytal Records,” which cooperates with bands Zapaska, Tik Tu, and OmodaGlee.
