The selection competition in the mountain complex Bukovel, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, defined the winner who will represent Ukraine at the         Eurovision International Song Competition for children. It will be the girl band Symfonik who will go to Malta.

Interestingly, back at the beginning of the selection competition they started to call Symfonik the winners. After all the performances were over, the jury named the winner, and the TV audience supported their opinion.

“Many participants still have to improve themselves,” the juror of the competition Ruslana PYSANKA said, “We did not have a unanimous decision regarding the winner. For example, some of the participants are good singers, but they were fussing too much on the stage, which spoiled the overall impression from the performance. I liked the members of the winning Symfonik band because they are so young, but already professional singers. Besides, they chose a beautiful song about Ukraine, they sang about their feelings, and the performance was wholesome and intelligent.”

“The three of us have won at the music academy of Eurovision,” the winners say, “Besides, we are best friends, so we decided not to compete with one another, but to create a band. Our efforts turned out not to be in vain, and we made the right choice, poof of which is the victory in the selection round.”

An interesting fact is that the girls come from different corners of Ukraine, Lviv, Simferopol, and Kharkiv. They consider their rivals in the competition very talented and worthy, and they wish them success in their new projects and undertakings.
