The Day’s Photo Seasons

The Autumn Melodies photo competition’s participants created an exhibition with a healing effect

“Thank you. I start every day in the Internet with The Day’s Photo Seasons”

The project called The Day’s Photo Seasons was born from a little idea, which emerged in our office during the snowy days early this year. Indeed, the past winter was particularly fierce, defying all predictions about global warming.

Then we encouraged our readers to make use of their cameras and send pictures to our amateur mini-photo competition “Photo of a Memorable Winter”, while visitors of our website were encouraged to vote for the best photo. This idea proved so popular with our readers that we decided to develop it.

Thus we created a new entertainment and information project. In March we announced the start of the “Spring Online” photo competition, followed by another one called “Photo – Summer, Summer, Summer!”

Now we are conducting the ongoing (and, incidentally, coming to an end) competition “Autumn Melodies.” With each season the number of participants grows, and this autumn photo competition has set another record. Our office has already received 216 pictures, 77 of which were selected by the contest’s jury for placement on The Day’s website. An improvised photo exhibition was created on the site, and (without any special design) it features one style only — the lyrical tranquility of the unique Ukrainian autumn.

So if you want to relax, rid yourself of stress or simply enjoy some beautiful sights, go to The Day’s Photo Seasons, located on our website. And by the way, do not forget to vote for your favorite picture, as the popular vote winners will receive prizes from the editors. The Day’s Photo Seasons are certainly not over with this competition. We already have new ideas.
