A BOAT

Each of her paintings is not just an illustration of life. It is always a story. Watercolors by Tetiana Pavlyk can be read like poetry. And each of her exhibits becomes an event in this sense. It is a celebration of visuality, as well as integral sensual affixment.

Pavlyk is the first laureate of the Mykhailo Derehus National Youth Award. She has been a member of the National Association of Artists since 1999 and a member of the National Society of Photo Artists since 2005.

Born and based in Ivano-Frankivsk, Pavlyk received education in Lviv, at the book design and illustration department of the Ivan Fedorov Ukrainian Institute of Printing. Her first personal exhibit took place in Lviv in 1990. It was a series of watercolors “The Forest Song,” inspired by the motifs of Lesia Ukrainka’s eponymous work.

COESSENTIAL AND UNDIVIDED

Pavlyk works in the sphere of painting, book and easel graphics, as well as photography. But she is faithfully devoted to watercolors. She is an active participant of various international and Ukrainian exhibits, contests, plein-air sessions for painters and photographers. Her works are preserved in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
